ArtRage is an annual statewide competition for year 11 and 12 students. The winner is selected by the QVMAG curators, and presented with the QVMAG Foundation medallion, inscribed with a beautiful motif by Michael McWilliams.

The 2024 medallion was awarded to Severine Cherry from the Friends' School by the Mayor of Launceston, Matthew Garwood.
